Terms of Service
By booking or attending a course with SO Barista School, you agree to the following terms:
1. Health & Safety
All attendees must follow instructions provided by trainers at all times.
SO Barista School reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour:
- Poses a safety risk
- Is disruptive
- Fails to follow instruction
No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
2. Allergens & Food Safety
Courses involve the handling and consumption of:
- Milk (dairy)
- Plant-based milk alternatives
- Coffee
- Chocolate
- Other food-grade products
Attendees must notify us in advance of any allergies or dietary requirements.
SO Barista School cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
3. Minimum Age
- Participants must be 16 years or older.
- Under 18s must have written parental consent.
4. Photography & Media
From time to time, photography or video may be taken during sessions for marketing and promotional purposes.
By attending, you consent to being included in such material unless you notify us in writing prior to the session.
5. Intellectual Property
All course materials, training content, branding and resources remain the intellectual property of SO Barista School.
Materials may not be:
- Reproduced
- Distributed
- Commercially used
Without written permission.
6. Liability
SO Barista School’s liability is limited to the total amount paid for the booking.
We are not liable for:
- Travel costs
- Accommodation costs
- Indirect or consequential loss
- Loss of earnings
7. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to deliver services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather
- Illness
- Government restrictions
- Utility failures
- Venue issues
8. Corporate & Group Bookings
Corporate or private group bookings may be subject to separate written agreements.
Deposits for private bookings are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
